The Champlain District

 

The Champlain Local Health Integration Network is home to 1,176,600 people or 9.5% of the Ontario population. It encompasses a large geographical area that includes Renfrew County, the City of Ottawa, Prescott & Russell, Stormont Dundas & Glengarry, North Grenville, and four parts of North Lanark (Beckwith, Carleton Place, Mississippi Millls and Lanark Highlands). In the Champlain region, there are 21 hospitals, 7 community health centres plus satellites, 61 long-term care homes, and more than 100 community-based agencies.
